What is a UDF file?
UDF (UYAP Document Format) is the official document format of Türkiye's National Judiciary Informatics System (UYAP), run by the Ministry of Justice. Petitions, court decisions, expert reports and most files downloaded from the judiciary come as .udf files, which normally open only in the UYAP Document Editor. Technically, a .udf file is a compressed archive holding a single content.xml with the document text and formatting; digitally signed documents also carry a sign.sgn signature file.
How the conversion works — and where your file goes

Signed files and limitations
If the original UDF carries a qualified electronic signature, the converted Word or PDF copy does not retain its legal validity — use the original .udf for official submissions.
